This year was the fourth and final year of fieldwork at Serre de l'Homme in the Fournel Valley. This part of the Southern French Alps Project comprised the excavation of a Mesolithic flint scatter and a series of late third and second millennia structures(pastoral enclosures for the main part). This research has also included a range of palaeoenvironmental investigations. This research is jointly directed by Kevin Walsh (University of York) and Florence Mocci (CNRS, Centre Camille Julian).
